Joseph Yosick is an intellectual property and music attorney with over 25 years of legal experience. He currently works in-house as Chief IP Counsel for a major international company. Joe helps artists and musicians with intellectual property matters, and also volunteers pro bono with Colorado Attorneys for the Arts.
Joe’s interest in music began at an early age growing up in the Chicago area, and included attending concerts and serving as the Music and Entertainment columnist for his high school newspaper. He continues to regularly attend concerts and play music (bass and guitar).
He has been a chemical engineer, an inventor, a published author of multiple scientific papers, and has helped the community through volunteer work and fundraising. His varied life experience helps him relate to clients, whatever their IP needs.
Joe is also very active in the Colorado legal community. He is the past chair and vice chair of the Colorado Bar Association IP Section. He is also currently a member of the executive council of the IP section and a member of the Sports and Entertainment section of the CBA.
